Geese are coming to Germany with their third album "Getting Killed" in March 2026

When the New York band Geese released their debut single "Disco" in 2021, a collective sigh of relief went through the scene of passionate music fans. The experimental, novel approach to their own post-punk brought a breath of fresh air to the band scene in New York and far beyond. With their debut album "Projector", which followed in the same year, Geese secured themselves one of the brightest stars in the newcomer sky. The group around frontman Cameron Winter, whose nickname "Goose" also inspired the band's name, formed in Brooklyn, New York, back in 2016 and began packing their unconventional post-punk into driving tracks. Two years after their debut album, "3D Country" was released, a free-spirited country rock album that is already considered a modern classic and shows that there are always exciting musical horizons for the quartet to discover.

The third album "Getting Killed", which the band recorded over ten packed days with producer Kenny Beats in his studio in Los Angeles, will be released on September 26. The short creative process manifests itself in a kind of musical chaos, in which the band members focus on epic moments and leave conventional musical boundaries behind. Their third longplayer sounds like the wild but deliberate experimentation of musicians who trust their talent enough to let go. Sometimes there are slow indie elements in which frontman Winter reveals the harmonic range of his voice, only to shout the next moment with the brute guitar riffs of Emily Green. Together with Dom DiGesu on bass and Max Bassin on drums, the result is a grab bag of sounds and influences. It is precisely this explosive mixture that visitors can expect at the band's concerts. Geese have already been able to test their new material at several festival shows and impress with the tracks from "Getting Killed" and their generally unpredictable stage show. This fall, Geese will embark on the biggest headlining tour of their career to date in North America, followed by shows in Europe in spring 2026. Geese will also be coming to Germany in March for a total of four concerts.
