"The safest secret is the one you don't tell anyone," says a Chinese proverb.
Fabian is actually looking forward to the best evening of the year. With his best friends, the twins Éric and Jérôme, he wants to watch the final of the French Open together and drink 2-3 bottles of wine to go with it. Éric turns up an hour early because he wants to speak to Fabian alone to tell him a secret. Éric announces that this secret will not only fundamentally change his life, but also that of his twin brother and his wife Juliette. But under no circumstances should Fabian tell anyone about it and, above all, not let on to Jérôme during the tennis match. Fabian senses that he is about to have a deep conflict of conscience and asks Éric to keep everything to himself. But his friend is unstoppable, he spills the beans and then quickly disappears. After all, he doesn't want to meet his brother under any circumstances.
But a secret rarely comes alone. A little later, Jérôme arrives earlier than planned to tell Fabian something of great importance.
Sworn to secrecy by both brothers, Fabian tries to keep the secrets, somehow get out of the dilemma and persuade the brothers to finally be open with each other.
"Secrets" by Sébastien Blanc is an intimate comedy with sophisticated timing about lies and truth, rivalry and loyalty between friends - and brothers. The play offers showcase roles for two actors. Particularly amusing: the two unequal, almost opposing twin brothers are played by one actor.
