Our last journey - where does it actually go? What awaits us after life? In this respect, humanity oscillates in a cosmos of almost boundless ideas: Heaven or hell, transmigration or haunting, nirvana or simply the great nothingness? What do the dead actually do? For the whole of eternity? Let's just ask them ourselves! Anchored in a highly enigmatic intermediate world, in this production the deceased float in a kind of transit area from here to there, in the last inn before eternity, so to speak, more or less ready to make contact. Hosted, cared for, overheard and understood by an opaque and ageless hostess and sung about by an otherwise rather taciturn corner stool, all these ghosts carry their stories and memories from this world as well as great expectations of the hereafter within themselves and to the outside world. Some of them are crashingly sad, others howlingly funny, some stinking lies and all of them absolutely worth hearing, seeing, feeling and celebrating again. Little by little, the fragments of impressive images, texts and musical interjections finally weave themselves into a speculative saga about life and death and the great afterlife.
