In addition to the demonstration and vigil on 25 November, we are organizing two further events: On November 21, the Stadtteilhaus PE12 (Pestalozzistraße 12) and on November 22, the Sozialdienst katholischer Frauen e.V. (Kirchplatz 5) invite you to an empowering breakfast from 10 a.m. in which we will not only discuss the effects of gender-based violence and the local and nationwide contact points, but also make orange lights together in preparation for the vigil. The event will be held in German and can be accompanied by Turkish, Arabic and Kurdish translation.

We invite everyone to join us, show solidarity and send a strong signal against patriarchal violence.

This year we are supported by local organizations such as Frauenhaus Rheydt, @frauenberatungmoenchengladbach, Sozialdienst katholischer Frauen e.V., @demokratie.leben.mg, @pe12_mg, @bipoc.moenchengladbach and OFFEMSIVE M'GLADBACH and raise awareness about gender-based violence.
