Tom, Hugo and Hedwig Kümmelsaft, an unbeatable team, on a great search for the most dangerous of all ghosts

Tom doesn't have it easy. His imaginary sister annoys him in the living room and a slimy ghost is squatting in the cellar. But nobody believes the little boy, who supposedly has too much imagination. Fortunately, Mrs. Kümmelsaft lives next door and has some great tips on how to fight ghosts. Well equipped, Tom descends into the cellar at the witching hour. There, the ghost Hugo turns out to be extremely lovable and not so scary at all. He only has one big problem: his own villa is haunted by an incredibly disgusting ghost. Armed with cemetery soil and violet perfume, Tom, Hugo and the experienced ghost hunter Hedwig set off on the icy trail of the most dangerous of all ghosts.

German children's and young adult author Cornelia Funke has been internationally renowned since the breakthrough of her novel "Lord of the Thieves". She has now written over 60 books, her works have been translated into 37 languages and many have been made into films or dramatized for the theater, such as "Tintenherz".
