An event in the discussion series "Heimat(en) - How we want to live together. On longing and belonging" to accompany the exhibition "Citizens collect for Westphalia. 200 years of the Altertumsverein" with the writer and journalist Burkhard Spinnen.

In his literary and essayistic texts, Burkhard Spinnen has repeatedly dealt with the concept of home and put its resilience to the test; despite all his approaches, he has never been able to completely overcome his reserves. The conversation with Daniel Müller Hofstede is about his different perspectives on and the various components of "Heimat". In the end, it is up to the audience whether they agree with the sympathetic sceptic's point of view or whether they remain optimistic about their longings.
