Giganten der Urmeere

In the organizer's words:

We embark on a journey back in time to the Earth's distant past: fascinating large creatures that we only know from fossils populate the primordial oceans as early as the Palaeozoic era, while the land is still a complete wasteland. In the Mesozoic era, dinosaurs not only dominated the entire surface of the earth and the airspace, but also the seas! There, gigantic reptiles hunted everything that swam around. Our mammalian ancestors are still tiny at this time and will only evolve after a global catastrophe.

Join us on a dive into the primordial oceans and encounter the extinct sea giants of bygone times that make us humans look very small. Long-necked paddle lizards, fish dinosaurs, mosasaurs and the largest turtle that ever existed are lined up alongside native swimming dinosaurs. We also ask ourselves whether dinosaurs really only hunted on land.

Many areas for children and interactive stations make this exhibition an entertaining and informative experience for everyone. Let us surprise you!
