Welcome to the 21st GIRLS GO MOVIE short film festival on November 22 & 23 at Cineplex Mannheim
You can expect numerous short films by young female* filmmakers, exciting film talks and the career orientation event: FOCUS YOUR JOB!
Public award ceremony: Sunday, 23 NOV from 6 pm
Deniz Özbay, former GIRLS GO MOVIE participant, will open the evening with an artistic impulse. This will be followed by words of welcome from Dr. Fellbach-Stein, Head of Cultural Affairs at the Ministry for Family Affairs, Women, Culture and Integration in Rhineland-Palatinate, and Thorsten Riehle, Cultural Mayor of the City of Mannheim.
Juries:
This year's award winners* will be honored by the jurors Patricija Katica Bronić, Maria Mayland and Katharina Anna-Josefine Rausch as well as the Girls' Jury with Linua Land, Birke Lederer and Clara Nies.
Haide Rost from Zonta-Club Mannheim e.V. will award a sponsorship prize.
Ticket reservations are not possible!
There are enough seats available in the movie theater.
The box office will be manned throughout the day.
Admission is possible at any time.
Admission prices: 5€ day ticket / 8€ festival pass
Female filmmakers have Free admission.
The award ceremony is free for everyone!
