Under the motto "It swings, sounds and jazzt", the students will show what they have been working on over the past semesters. The audience can look forward to a varied program full of energy, emotion and musical diversity - from groovy Latin jazz to modern fusion sounds and traditional swing.

Among the performers are

• the Latin ensemble of the GBJA Dortmund under the direction of Gregory Gaynair and Alvaro Severino,
• the innovative "Future Music Ensemble" under the direction of Orest Filipov,
• as well as the nationally acclaimed "Masterclass Ensemble" under the direction of Evgeny Ring.

In addition to well-known formations, numerous new talents and young stars of the Dortmund jazz scene will also be performing. The audience can expect an evening full of musical surprises, stylistic diversity and an inspiring joy of playing - entertaining, varied and rousing.

The Glen Buschmann Jazz Akademie Dortmund, named after the jazz musician Prof. Rainer "Glen" Buschmann, was founded in 1996 and awarded the WDR Jazz Prize (honorary prize) in 2017. Today, it is considered one of the most renowned jazz academies in North Rhine-Westphalia. The teachers are nationally and internationally active jazz musicians who pass on their knowledge and stage experience with great commitment.
