Welcome to the popular drag show "Glitter & Smoke"! Hosts Aria Viderci and Effi Biest are ready, as always, to offer the audience a wild mix of comedy and emotion, dance routines and glittering costumes: Escapism at its best and unparalleled fun. But even during the first number, the reality of the street slowly breaks into the stage action, and soon the point is reached where the two entertainers can no longer deny it. In their first joint theater show, the drag artists explore how political drag can be in the face of the shift to the right. With lots of sequins and pop music, they ask what queer solidarity means in concrete terms and what society needs right now: Escape from everyday life or agitation? Or how about both at the same time?
