DAVID SAFIER - LOVE IS LOOKING FOR A ROOM

In the Warsaw ghetto in 1942, music, laughter and applause can be heard from a small side street. A play called "Love Seeks a Room" celebrates its premiere. With shining eyes, the actress Sara watches her great love Edmund from the edge of the stage as he casts a spell over the audience. Then Michal, the director of the theater and her ex, approaches her and makes Sara a tempting offer: he will flee the ghetto after the performance and offers her a ticket to freedom. He wants to save her - from the Nazis, typhus and hunger. But escaping with him would mean leaving Edmund behind and probably never seeing him again. Sara has to make a decision - and she only has the ninety minutes she has on stage to do so.
