Drummer, composer and bandleader Wolfgang Haffner is a musical all-rounder. The master of nuances on the drums has been involved in more than 400 albums and has worked with Klaus Doldinger, Pat Metheny, Al Jarreau, Nils Landgren, Chaka Khan and the Fantastische Vier, among others. He also cultivates his trademark beats, his incorruptible drive and his inspiring creativity with his trio, whose current line-up includes two other exceptional musicians: Shooting star Simon Oslender was recently awarded the WDR Jazz Prize 2025 and Thomas Stieger has been providing the foundation in Sarah Connor's band for years. Together they create the "Haffner Sound", finely tuned soundscapes full of joyful playing, rousing rhythms and soulful melodies!
