Noa, born in Israel to Yemeni parents and raised in New York from the age of two to 17, unites many musical facets in her personality. The expressive singer moves effortlessly between styles, combining poetic jazz with oriental influences, rounded off with influences from pop, rock, R&B and folk. With her ongoing commitment to peace and reconciliation between Jews and Palestinians, she has long been a "voice of peace" in the Middle East conflict. She wants to overcome walls of language, religion and prejudice and build musical bridges for more respect and dialog. She has developed her current project "The Giver" with her long-standing musical partner, jazz and classical guitarist Gil Dor, and pianist Ruslan Sirota. In the spirit of the title, she is focusing more than ever on the generosity of sharing, caring and giving - who can argue with that?
