This concert brings together two top acts from the Iberian peninsula: Sílvia Pérez Cruz and Salvador Sobral. Perhaps the most beautiful voice in Catalonia and the Portuguese ESC winner of 2017 both combine influences from flamenco, fado, chanson and jazz with Brazilian sounds in their music and jump light-footedly back and forth between Europe and Latin America. Their joint musical project is more than just a collaboration - it is a celebration of friendship, inspiration and artistic affinity. In addition to their own compositions, songwriters such as Jorge Drexler, Luísa Sobral and Lau Noah, who are close to both of them, contribute new songs for the occasion. When Sílvia Pérez Cruz and Salvador Sobral interpret them with the sensual timbre of their voices, the warming southern sun and the salty air of the surf are conjured up all by themselves!
