Godwin Namanyabyoona: Flowing Stories on Paper

In the organizer's words:

The artist Godwin Namanyabyoona tells stories without words, using paint and brushes. Under his guidance, he invites us to combine our own experiences and stories around the theme of solidarity and hospitality through painting. Based on the exhibition ... so that the sound of war subsides, its roar, we exchange views on the questions: What does war mean for those who have to flee? What is the value of solidarity? And how do we experience hospitality in our society?

Participants of all ages are invited to tell each other their stories and connect them by painting together. The result is a long fabric banner that makes the participants' perspectives visible. No previous knowledge is necessary, everyone is welcome!
