Chanson singer and emcee Marie Oser, accompanied by her pianist Sophie Sczepanek, presents amusing and profound chansons and stories from the 1920s and 1930s. The great names of this era come to life in a poetic setting: Friedrich Hollaender, master of cabaret and chronicler of the milieu, Werner Richard Heymann, creator of unforgettable film scores, Kurt Tucholsky, biting observer of his time, the legendary "Revolverschnauze" Claire Waldoff and, of course, the immortal Marlene Dietrich.

The repertoire is rounded off with modern highlights such as theme songs from the hit series Babylon Berlin and sensitive settings of poems by Mascha Kaléko and Joachim Ringelnatz.

Embark on a journey to a time in which extravagance and the quiet foreboding of impending crises meet and look forward to an evening full of poetry, wit, melancholy, sarcasm and joie de vivre!
