A day of performance and music.

Claude Bwendua is an eco-futurist artist, figure maker, performer and musician. Since 2010, he has been moving between the cultures of Germany and the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he has developed his concept "Le monde est boule mais tous le boule n'est pas boule à boule" (French-Congolese proverb: "The world is round, but not everything round is the world") as an independent artist.

It is an urban narrative in which imaginary people and animals take shape in lively eco-futuristic figures and costumes. Bwendua uses plastic, paper, metal, fabric, electronic waste, materials that can be found on the street; he paints them with the colors for which he has a great passion and which characterize his style.

The site of his work is the urban space and the objects he finds there, such as bottles lying around and the like, are the object of his work. Bwendua always says that all objects found in the garbage have a spirit and a story. Because these items are part of his daily life, and he also says that when he finds them, they always have a journey behind them or they hide some other quality behind their use.

People are striving more than ever to impress others and to find value in this. The artist Claude Bwendua says that through the process of recreation, the figures may give everyone the opportunity to find their own points of reference and to question themselves.
