GOTHIC METAL NIGHT - The concept event with
A Night In Temptation - Tribute to Nightwish & Within Temptation
& Kiss of Dawn - Tribute to H.I.M.

Ten musicians, two bands, similar music, one idea. One cog in the wheel has already been turned into another and a very special concept has been created that brings two bands of the "dark" genre to the concert stage in one package. Kiss of Dawn - a tribute to H.I.M." is the only HIM tribute band in Germany to pay homage to the Finnish dark rockers around frontman Ville Valo. "A Night in Temptation", on the other hand, deals with two musical role models at once: The Finnish symphonic metallers from Nightwish and their Dutch colleagues from "Within Temptation". The inclusion of genre-similar pieces by Depeche Mode, Sisters of Mercy or Type O'Negative, for example, rounds off the "Gothic Metal Night" perfectly.

The two bands form a real symbiosis, and not just musically. "Kiss of Dawn" and "A Night in Temptation" with their melodic and melancholic pieces create a "gloomy" atmosphere, which is further enhanced by the matching stage design: Grave lights, five-armed candlesticks and flame lights lend the evening the right mood. This is rounded off at the end of the event by the large "sea of sparklers".

The symbiosis is also continued on stage when frontmen Angy ("A Night in Temptation") and Heiko ("Kiss of Dawn") launch into duets together. The two musicians have known each other for over 25 years - back then they celebrated great success with their cover band "Backbone".
