The unique sound of the Düsseldorf duo Grandbrothers has been causing a stir since their very first tracks. Every note, every noise is produced by a single instrument - a classical concert grand piano, whose limits of sonic expression are pushed and pushed to the limit. The music moves between electro and minimal music, techno beats, pop and neo-classical music. The piano is not simply played conventionally and analog-acoustically, it is expanded in parallel with digital-technical features, so that the classical sounds merge with the modern sounds in a wondrous, breathtaking way.
