Graphic Music: Kammer-Buch-Konzert

40 years of Gasteig, 40 years of culture for Munich and 4 decades with a wonderful audience. To celebrate this anniversary, there will be a party with surprise events to join in on on November 12 at Gasteig HP8. To mark the milestone birthday of Europe's largest cultural center, the institutes of the Gasteig family will present a colorful program with games, music, dance and theater! Everyone who joins in the celebrations can, for example, look over the shoulder of an orchestra, take part in the pub quiz, tell their own personal Gasteig stories or attend the "Graphic Music: Chamber Book Concert".

What happens when music, literature and images come together? A visually enhanced listening experience or an acoustic feast for the eyes? Either way, a special energetic mixture is created. The new chamber-book concert makes images resound, visualizes sounds and gives literature a voice. Finely tuned works of chamber music meet contemporary graphic novels. At the premiere, the musicians of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra together with a narrative voice will present excerpts from the graphic novel "Über Tyrannei. Twenty Lessons for Resistance" by Timothy Snyder, illustrated by Nora Krug.

For everyone aged 16 and over. As part of "gasteigXchange", the concert is a cooperation between the Munich Adult Education Center and the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.
