What does the historic and infamous mutiny on the Bounty have to do with the Botanic Gardens in Bonn?

Experience cinematic art, reflect together and talk about sustainability. The film event series is a cooperation between Team N (Sustainability) at the University of Bonn, the Bonn Cinematheque and the Brotfabrik cultural center in Bonn.

In this edition, we are showing the 1984 classic "The Bounty", a film about awakening, rebellion and the complex relationship between man and nature. We look forward to an introduction and subsequent discussion with the curator of the Bonn Botanical Gardens and expert on crop diversity and sustainable plant research, Dr. Cornelia Löhne. Together we will take a look at the botanical side of history and what plants can teach us about sustainability.
