GUTALAX (CZ)

Gutalax is a grindcore band from the Czech Republic. The name of the band is based on the laxative Guttalax.

The Gutalax members describe their musical style as "Gore 'n' Roll", consisting of a mixture of gore and porngrind with a good dose of humor.

Gutalax was founded in spring 2009 by the members Průduch, Pouřík, Kebab and Maty. In September of the same year, seven tracks were recorded for the first album, which was released as a split album together with the Italian band Cannibe. Their first album Shit Beast was recorded in January 2011, followed by their second album Shit Happens in early 2014 - their latest work from 2021 is entitled The Shitpendables.
