Every second Thursday of the month, the Hafenbahnhof opens its stage for an open soul and hip-hop jam session with an opening concert. The charismatic musician Khalil Kry leads the evening.

The multidisciplinary artist REDCHILD thrives on his versatility. Whether as a freelance producer, rapper or presenter, the Hamburg talent, who is known for his exceptional freestyle skills, produces music and regularly performs as an MC at the biggest international hip-hop events. Born in Berlin in 1991, the artist discovered his performing talent at an early age and built up an impressive career as an independent performer and musician while still at school. After graduating from school and completing a bachelor's degree (BA Audio Production), he dedicated his career to the cultural sector. Most recently, REDCHILD impressed audiences in Germany as Hercules Mulligan and James Madison in the hit Broadway musical Hamilton. His most recent release ''GRIOT'' was highly praised by critics. With his refreshingly poised demeanor and distinctive voice, REDCHILD shines both on stage and behind the microphone. In his hometown, he is committed to helping young people from difficult backgrounds by offering workshops in creative writing, performance and entrepreneurship to open up new perspectives for those who lack direction.

Hafenbounce is more than just a jam session - it's a space of appreciation for music, poetry and personal stories.
