Lights, lounge and winter fun: Überseeboulevard is transformed for the 16th time into a festive winter wonderland to enjoy and feel good. Just one kilometer from Hamburg's Rathausmarkt, the HafenCity Christmas market on Hamburg's promenade and shopping mile in Überseequartier attracts visitors with exciting hands-on activities, Advent calendar raffles and winter action on the mini golf and curling rink.

The HafenCity Christmas market invites you to enjoy a relaxed Advent and winter atmosphere every day from 12:00 to 20:30 until the New Year. In addition to the covered and heated lounge with seating area, delicious mulled wine stands and gastronomic offerings contribute to the feel-good atmosphere. On Thursday, 20.11.2025, the grand opening show will lend the shopping street - just 800 m from Hamburg City Hall - a particularly festive flair with live music and atmospheric laser and lighting effects. The traditional visit from St. Nicholas on December 6, 2025 and the free winter tournament on the mini golf course on Saturday, December 13 from 4 pm will make children's eyes light up. The old year can be bid farewell in style on New Year's Eve until 20:30, while the Christmas Lounge opens its stalls on New Year's Day from 12:00 to 20:00 and welcomes the year 2026.

Exciting activities: From A for advent calendar to W for winter golf

The countdown to the big celebration starts on December 1: every day at 6 p.m., the Christmas angel opens a little door and the Advent season is sweetened with attractive prizes. There are more than 45 surprises to be won in the Advent calendar lottery. The main prize is a shopping voucher worth 2,000.00 euros from the bridal and evening wear store True Society. Other prizes in the daily Advent calendar prize draw include an annual membership to Prime Time Fitness worth EUR 1,000.00, comfortable overnight stays in a hotel, a day pass for relaxing hours in the Heavenly Spa and restaurant and retail vouchers for unforgettable moments.

Popular with young and old alike: the highlight of this year's market are the 13 individually and lovingly designed holes of the winter golf course and a curling lane. Both mini golf, the summer classic with a winter twist, and the centuries-old winter tradition of curling are all about socializing and shared experiences. Company groups and school classes can also book exclusive slots for winter fun and games.

Dr. Claudia Weise, Quarter Manager of Überseequartier at BNP Paribas Real Estate Property Management Germany, announces this year's sporting highlights: "Our Christmas lounge is one of the highlights on Überseeboulevard for us every year. We look forward to sending our guests on a journey through the winter golf wonderland after a hot mulled wine and snacks. This year's event will be even more sporty with the addition of a curling rink. Visitors can relax in the winter lounge and experience an adventure at the same time, which can also be booked for school classes and company parties."
