Over 70 exhibitors and DIY highlights at the Forum of the Future

On November 8 and 9, 2025, the Forum of the Future on Museum Island will once again be transformed into a place full of ideas, inspiration and craftsmanship. The Herzlmarkt handmade and creative market will bring together over 70 carefully selected exhibitors - including numerous small manufacturers as well as regional and local designers and creatives who will be exhibiting in Munich with genuine craftsmanship and a great love of detail.

Whether clothing, fine art prints, steampunk decorations made from watch parts, fine soaps, stamps, soothing herbal ointments, jewelry, spicy chili sauces, fine wines or special liqueurs - this is just a small insight into the variety of unique products that can be discovered at the Herzlmarkt.

Do it yourself! Art meets experience

Those who want to get creative themselves will get their money's worth: at many craft stations, visitors can decorate dip candles, design their own linoleum prints, make bead rings or mix their own personal herbal tincture. DIY for anyone who wants to join in - or take home a personalized gift. The Harmonograph is a real highlight: The fascinating drawing device with pendulum system can not only be admired, but also tried out for yourself. In addition, a fantasy reading on Sunday at 2 pm in the foyer will provide magical moments. There will be face painting and glitter tattoos for younger visitors.

Culinary delights meet creativity

Hearty treats are available from the food truck outside the door, while delicious empanadas and sweet alfajores await inside. For all those who want to treat themselves to a creative break or haven't had enough yet, there's plenty to discover in the creative café, as well as refreshing drinks and cozy places to linger and enjoy.

As a special treat, the culinary-cultural city guides from Eat the World will be lotterying for exclusive experiences right on site - just drop by, take part and, with a bit of luck, win!

Herzlmarkt Munich says goodbye for now

With this edition, Herzlmarkt München is saying goodbye. After many colorful, lovingly curated markets, the creative minds behind the format are taking a creative break. The Herzlmarkt has been a fixture in Munich's calendar of events since 2016 - a market with a heart for handmade goods. But this is not a farewell forever: the break is inspirational. The initiators will soon be back with new ideas for the local design and creative scene.
