Hans Anselm
The mysterious Hans Anselm gathered his four musicians for a journey to the inner world of sound. He is an imaginary friend who inspires and challenges the band.
HANS ANSELM's sound is often described as cinematic, combining the worlds of modern jazz with electro-acoustic sounds, ambient and minimal music. The musicians strive to depict emotions in all their complexity. The focus is on telling stories together and inviting the audience to dream.
Their third album "A Permanent Place In Between Poles Of Existence" was released in February 2024 on BERTHOLD records. Acoustic sounds meet organic noises and dark synthesizers and merge into hypnotizing and pulsating soundscapes.
