Headcornerstone

The Munich reggae band Headcornerstone was an integral part of Germany's flourishing reggae scene in the early to mid-2000s. With their albums "Headcornerstone" (2003) and "Stand Strong" (2005), the band attracted attention far beyond the country's borders in the years that followed. Together with Munich bands such as Babacools, Dubios Neighbourhood, Jahcoustix and Jamaram, Headcornerstone laid the foundations for a steadily growing local scene and sparked a wave of enthusiasm among their own generation in Germany. After disbanding in 2010, however, the band only played occasional concerts with different line-ups. In 2021, they returned with their new album "Walk On". With the usual socially critical lyrics, catchy melodies and the unmistakable voice of frontman Conscious Fyah, this album produced by ADUBta impresses with its warm sounding, analog vintage reggae sound. The album was released by the Munich label Oneness Records and now this fantastic live band is finally back in the starting blocks and will go on tour in 2025 with almost the original line-up.
