HEART AND SOUL - A Tribute to Joy Division: The Fromms - 40 years ago a well-known post-punk/new wave formation in Essen and the surrounding area. The "Fromms parties" were legendary, as was the gig in Kettwig with the introduction: "Today we only play Joy Division". The Fromms' singer at the time, Michael Loef, has now turned to his old love with his "HEADACHE" project and found two extraordinary musicians from the band "Sleeping Woods" to bring "HEART AND SOUL - A Tribute to Joy Division" to the stage with him. - Vocals & Bass: Michael Loef, Guitar & Vocals: Benedikt Holtermann, Drums: Lukas Vogt, Special Guest: Leo Holtermann

Sleeping Woods: Recurring summer night nostalgia, the never quite tangible concept of time and the transience that comes with it are just some of the themes that inspire Sleeping Woods' music and lyrics. Driven by their love of Britpop, brothers Bene and Leo Holtermann decided to form a band at the ages of 15 and 17. Eleven years later, the band released their third EP: Picturesque Lunacy - after the release concert 2025, Sleeping Woods are coming back to the Rabbit Hole with all EP tracks, new merch and old favorites.
