Hey, hey, hey, I'm getting into a cab and the adventure begins: between all sorts of vegetables, narrowly missing the giant wave, with a detour to dwarves and dragons, at a rapid pace, sometimes weightless, but in the end always back home, home, to you. "Hey, hey, hey, Taxi!" is the first children's book by multi-award-winning author Saša Stanišic. Stanišic developed the numerous stories for and with his son - as bedtime stories, a pastime, a journey of the mind. They are characterized by an almost overflowing imagination and bizarre images. The Theater im Marienbad has taken on the colorful stories and created a one-person play on its own initiative, with the support of Freiburg puppeteer Vanessa Valk. The openness, curiosity and adventurous spirit of the stories penned by Stanišic were the guiding principles behind this mobile production, which will go on a journey together with young and old audience members.
