A reading session for all those who live in fear of Christmas

On Thursday, December 11, 2025, 7 p.m. at the LOGO Institute, 63067 Offenbach, Bernardstraße 13 (rear building), there will be a reading session for everyone who wants to smile about Christmas and take a "different" perspective on the crazy Christmas hustle and bustle. Performed without a tree and with cookies by four professional speakersand graduatesof the LOGO speaker training course under the direction of Julia Schmitz.
Christmas comes down on us every year. Who still thinks of Christ's birth and charity, is satisfied with apples and nuts and looks forward to the holidays with the family? Instead, with the annual bonuses in hand, we experience the "crunch time" of the year. We hurriedly work off everything that has been left lying around, eat and drink too much, feign generosity and generosity, buy presents that nobody needs and that we can't afford to give to people we don't like. And then there's this obtrusive Last Christmas droning and ho-ho-ho yodeling from all available loudspeakers at XXL Christmas markets and even the once "quiet little place". Is there peace on earth then?
Fortunately, this year there is the gift table of four graduates of the LOGO Institute's speaker training program. The professionals will be laying out the best Christmas stories for their guests. This may not whet the appetite for the coming Christmas. But it may remind you of what Grandpa Hoppenstedt once lamented in Loriot's famous sketch: "There used to be more tinsel".
