The actor, singer and dubbing actor Jens Wawrczeck achieved cult status with his role as detective Peter Shaw in the radio play series Die drei ???, which continues to this day. He is now fulfilling a dream with the reading series HITCH UND ICH. His great passion is Alfred Hitchcock and the literature "behind the movie". He has to drag them into the light and expose them: the invisible third parties - the novels and stories behind Hitchcock's film successes. Murderous, musical, multimedia. The program is accompanied by live music with different artists each time.

Francis Beeding's novel, which Hitchcock later turned into the film Spellbound, was originally published under the title "The House of Dr. Edwardes". Although "house" is a slight understatement. Château Landry is a medieval castle. Dr. Edwardes runs a renowned mental hospital here. Two new doctors are expected: Dr. Murchison, a psychiatrist, and Dr. Constance Sedgwick, a newcomer to the profession, who discovers on her arrival that Dr. Edwardes has left - he himself has suffered a nervous breakdown. The other patients seem to thrive on the brilliant young doctor's methods. Until the insane murderer suddenly claims to be Murchison himself.
