Have you heard of Hojicha? The new trend tea from Japan is slowly conquering the world and now meets fine chocolate! The special Hojicha tasting event in Dortmund.

Come to my Cacao Studio in Dortmund's Kreuzviertel district and find out more about the new trendy matcha alternative from Japan. During this unique experience with a Japanese bamboo whisk, you will prepare the high-quality Hojicha yourself on site after a brief instruction.

Afterwards, we will taste the Hojicha and combine it with matching chocolates from all over the world. Some particularly rare Hojicha chocolates have also made it to Dortmund.

In 90 minutes you can expect:

• Tasting of a high-quality Hojicha, which you will learn to prepare yourself on site using bamboo whisks

• Tasting of four exceptional chocolates that are perfectly matched to the Hojicha and that you are guaranteed never to have tasted before

• Exciting insights into the world of hojicha and high-quality chocolate

After visiting the world's biggest chocolate festivals in Paris and Amsterdam, I am bringing you special chocolates to NRW that pair perfectly with Hojicha. The nutty, aromatic taste of freshly prepared Japanese Hojicha harmonizes impressively with the chocolates I have selected. Rare products that have only made their way to Dortmund in limited quantities will be included.

The participants will meet on the selected date in the heart of the Kreuzviertel (address will be communicated in advance) to take part in the Hojicha & Chocolate Tasting. At the end of the tasting, you will know what is important when preparing high-quality Hojicha and learn which chocolates can be combined with the trendy Japanese drink.
