This day is all about tits. Most people know the great tit and the blue tit, but there are many more species of tit. We will learn about their special features and how they live.
Then it gets practical: we build a tit house - and a very special one at that - one that is both a feeding station and a nesting box. A world first! While building the house, you can try out the most important crafts. So we'll be sanding, drilling, rasping, sawing, screwing and hammering. And in the end you'll have "your own pretty tit house". All you have to do at home is hang it up and fill it with food. And now you can watch the cute titmice pecking for seeds.
