How do lived histories, social codes and identities read as female inscribe themselves in movement? In "horea", four female performers meet in the Malkasten's theater hall and explore the question of how biography and imprinting manifest themselves in physical expression.
The performers' bodies become visible as living archives, formed from fragments of childhood, inner upheavals, normative attributions and the subtle traces of ageing. A multi-layered choreographic structure emerges from these inscriptions: movements alternate between somatic impulse and formal control, approaching the biographical just as much as they withdraw into abstraction. Instead of a linear narrative, a dynamic network of meaning emerges, a resonating space for projection, legibility and transformation.
The stage space is transformed into a living landscape. Sound, silence and movement merge into a synaesthetic space of experience - sensually tangible and emotionally powerful.
