HSD Bigband feat. Philipp van Endert & Martin Ochs

The HSD Big Band was founded by Prof. Hubert Minkenberg at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. Releases such as "Shades of Blue" and "Funny Smell" have made the big band famous far beyond the borders of Düsseldorf. Since 2014, the HSD Big Band has been led by trumpeter, teacher, composer and arranger Martin Reuthner.
In 2024, the band celebrated its 20th anniversary and has big plans for the future. A long-cherished wish was a joint concert with the great guitarist Philipp van Endert. To make this wish come true, bandleader Martin Reuthner and Philipp van Endert have put together a strong program of jazz standards, originals and original compositions specially arranged for the occasion by the guest soloist.
Martin Ochs sets a groovy accent with his charismatic soul jazz voice; together with Philipp van Endert and the HSD Big Band, he is sure to provide a jam highlight or two.
