Nina dreams of becoming a writer. With advice from her resolute neighbor, a seasoned author, she dares to write her first story and becomes the main character herself. She writes about living with her family, her everyday life at school and on the sports field as well as about her first love - and delves deeper and deeper into the life of her mother, who died young.
