The song recital celebrates the artistic dedication of Jewish composers who lived in exile or exile during difficult times. You will hear, for example, timeless melodies from George Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess", Leonard Bernstein's "West Side Story", socially critical songs by Kurt Weill or the unforgettable film melodies by Friedrich Holländer from Marlene Dietrich's repertoire. Their music reflects the diversity of human experience and transcends the boundaries of space and time.
