Im Dickicht der Stadt: #4 Erzählen

In the organizer's words:

The Residenztheater and the Climate School of LMU Munich invite you to an expedition into the urban wilderness of our city. As part of a long-term collaboration, director Alexander Eisenach and actor Maximilian Grünewald are developing artistic formats together with ensemble members and scientists from LMU that explore the relationship between humans and nature in a variety of ways. At each event, we welcome a renowned guest from the world of research: from biology to Catholic theology - experience new perspectives and join in the discussion!

The DICKICHT sees itself as a place of encounter and exchange. The Wittelsbacher Wiese directly behind the Marstall is not only transformed into a stage, but also into a summer bar with drinks, music and birdsong, which is open for you before and after the performances.

The DICKICHT is inside and outside. Intimate and public. It poses the question of togetherness. We want to explore, experience, discuss, celebrate, listen to the birds and the noise of the city.

We let trees, woodlice, mushrooms and CO2 speak and tell their stories. We experiment, perceive and listen to what these new protagonists have to tell us - what will we answer them?

#4 Storytelling

We dedicate this issue to those who have led us through the thicket so far: The scientists. How does research change you? What do facts feel like? And who actually still believes in climate change? The players in the ensemble approach these questions together with climatologists from LMU.
