In her non-fiction comic published in 2021, Liv Strömquist asks why ideals of beauty determine us so strongly. She combines current discourse, history and theory in a satirical and entertaining way and lets characters such as Snow White's stepmother, Empress Sissi and media stars like Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian have their say.
