As one of the most internationally successful bands in their genre, In Extremo have been inspiring audiences with original and surprising concert ideas for years. Sixteen years after the acclaimed first "Tranquilo" project, they are now once again turning their attention to the quieter, more nuanced side of their work. Well-known songs as well as rarely played pieces are reinterpreted and thus unfold a fascinating world of sound in which every note and every melody has its very own effect.

"Tranquilo II" is musically enhanced by top-class guests: Oliver "SaTyr" Pade and Niel Mitra from Faun as well as violinist Justin Ciuche bring additional sound colors and virtuosity and give the program a special depth.
