Under the artistic direction of Jean-Philippe Apel and conceptualized by Jette Micheel, an evening between standstill and movement, between darkness and light, between mourning and hope is created.

The repertoire ranges from Heinrich Schütz, Johann Michael Bach and Otto Nicolai to contemporary works by Karin Höghielm and Sven-David Sandström.

"We trace moments of change and seek to experience them collectively," says director Jette Micheel, describing the concept. "The starting point is the question of how and when we notice change."

For ten years, the junge kammerchor düsseldorf has stood for ambitious vocal music and innovative concert forms. Around 30 singers from the region develop their projects collaboratively: artistic concepts are created in changing teams, which the choir then develops and realizes independently.
