Spite House:

Spite House from Montréal, Canada emerged from a moment of deep personal loss: singer and guitarist Max Lajoie founded the band in 2019 after the death of his mother and teamed up with his longtime friend Marc Tremblay (drums). Shortly afterwards, Nabil Ortega (bass) completed the trio.

Their sound combines the urgency of the modern hardcore scene with influences from '90s emo and post-hardcore - reminiscent of Seaweed, Jawbreaker or Knapsack, while remaining independent and contemporary. What particularly distinguishes Spite House is their relentless openness: Lajoie deals with family losses and personal ruptures without excuses and transforms them into energetic, melodic songs that are as cathartic as they are rousing.

With their new album "Desertion", Spite House deepen this approach and further sharpen their sound. Despite their autobiographical roots, they create an emotional directness that many can relate to. Music that transforms pain into movement and at the same time gives hope for change.

Pluto The Racer:

Pluto The Racer stands for fast pop-punk with catchy hooks, paired with the energy, attitude and mindset of a hardcore band. The Hanover-based Youngbloods are firmly rooted in the German scene and follow an uncompromising DIY spirit. Since the release of their self-titled EP in 2024, the band has shared the stage with bands such as One Step Closer, Military Gun, Glitterer, Fleshwater and many others. Their sound is characterized by the pop-punk/alternative sound of the late 90s and early 2000s, which is reflected in the emotional choruses and riffs as well as the fast, driving punk beats.
