Ingrids Enkel is an extraordinary band that combines the sonic aesthetics of Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW) with the dark energy of post-punk. With concise lyrics, driving beats and a distinctive synthesizer and guitar base, the project creates an unmistakable sound that is both nostalgic and modern at the same time. The band releases its music via its own label Diskontext and has already gained a growing fan base with its releases on platforms such as Spotify.

The project emphasizes artistic independence and a creative DIY approach. With their songs, Ingrid's Grandson moves between catchy melodies and profound content, making them both thought-provoking and inviting to dance to.
