19:00: Presentation in the Small Hall Hudba 85 - The Czechoslovak Scene in the Intermedia Year

Zonic editor Alexander Pehlemann and Miroslav Wanek from Už jsme doma present selected moments from the scene in the neighboring country, some of which were captured in the illegally shot music film "Hudba 85", which features Wanek's band F.P.B., among others. 20:00: Live music in the Henny Brenner Hall

Už Jsme Doma (Prague) + Rosa Beton (Berlin)

Už jsme doma were founded in 1985 in Teplice near the border, a scene hotspot in the 1980s, and quickly merged with members of F.P.B., probably the best punk band in Czechoslovakia from 1981-1985, whose second generation even played illegally in the GDR from time to time. Už jsme doma, however, transformed the punk energy with Dada jazz, prog complexity and a humorous willingness to experiment, which led them to collaborate with the Residents. Constantly on tour worldwide, the band around singer-poet Miroslav Wa-nek is still a live sensation of high entertainment value full of surprises.

Rosa Beton from Berlin, who never performed live in their original phase but left behind a legendary demo tape in 1983, celebrate the originals as wonderfully nervous post-punk versions of fidgety intensity. Singer Thomas Wagner later moved on to projects such as Herr Blum and Tom Terror & Das Beil, only to close the loop again in 2023 - with an energy as if no time had passed.

22:00: Party in the foyer Cold War Dances East/West with Zonic Zound Zystem (Leipzig)

The finale is "Cold War Dances" with Zonic Zound Zystem: post-punk on both sides of the Iron Curtain, between dub noise, punk funk, no wave and early electronics.
