Internationale Stefan-Heym-Preisverleihung

The Ukrainian writer Yuri Andrukhovych is the winner of the International Stefan Heym Prize of the City of Chemnitz 2026. With this award, the Board of Trustees honors his outstanding literary and journalistic work, his commitment to European international understanding and his consistent literary involvement in public debates.

During the ceremony, you can look forward to a culturally diverse evening with insights into Mr. Andrukhovych's literary work. As part of the award ceremony, we will also be celebrating the opening of the 35th Days of Jewish Culture in Chemnitz.
