With his thrilling performance at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, Isaak proved to a global audience of billions that he can easily play in the top league of the most exciting new faces in European pop music. Now the singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is back with his brand new single, on which the 29-year-old presents himself as emotional and captivating as never before!

Even at a young age, Isaak learned to captivate people with his songs and cast a spell over them. After teaching himself to play the guitar, piano, ukulele and drums at an early age, the self-taught musician gained his first experience as a street musician at the age of 12. An instructive time in which not only his instantly recognizable goosebump voice, but also his gripping stage presence developed - as Isaak has just demonstrated again in Malmö, Sweden, during his celebrated ESC performance with his thought-provoking final elimination anthem "Always On The Run", whose Spotify streaming numbers increased twenty-fold to almost 13 million after his worldwide power performance. The father of two currently has more than 2.5 million monthly Spotify listeners, over 50.6k Instagram followers and almost 34.5k followers on TikTok.

After impressing even rock star P!nk with his David Puentez collaboration "Baby Steps" (which immediately stormed to 1st place in the iTunes charts), the over 1.7 million streamed "Home", the 572k streamed "Water To The Seed" and the passionate cover version of "Who Knew", which Isaak immediately celebrated as "better than Ed Sheeran", the singer and musician is now following up with his next single.

On "Never The Same", his vocals, which immediately get under your skin, combine with a powerful chorus to create a poignant ballad in which Isaak once again gives a deep insight into his torn emotional life.

The song was written during a writing camp in Mallorca, where Isaak met musician Joris. They were living in the same village at the time (Vlotho, NRW) and it was long overdue for them to write a song together. Isaak on the collaboration: "Joris took the guitar at the beginning and freestyled a one-take chord progression. We didn't cut the guitar at the end and left it exactly as it was in the song."

On his new single "Never The Same", Isaak tells of change, development, personal growth and of no longer being the same in haunting words. A song about the heartbreaking realization of living apart while still somehow clinging to each other and holding on to old memories. And ultimately also about saying goodbye and accepting that some things are simply not made to last forever, no matter how much you want them to. With "Never The Same", Isaak presents another emotional heavyweight earworm full of vulnerability, but also strength with a view of a tiny light at the end of the tunnel.
