Globetrotter Reinhard Pantke has once again traveled to Iceland by bike and presents the fascinating landscapes of the island through the seasons. The digital photo and film show can be seen on Wednesday, November 19, from 7:30 pm at the Bürgerhaus Weserterrassen. The multivision show consists mainly of new photo and film material.

The world traveler from Braunschweig spent several months in Iceland in summer and winter. In his impressive presentation, he takes the audience on a journey through steaming geysers, bubbling mud springs and past bizarre icebergs and ice caves. It leads through wild fjord landscapes with huge bird colonies, across barren highland deserts to the lively Icelandic horses. The "exploding" colors of nature in the short polar summers under constant daylight give these unique primeval landscapes a special intensity.

Reykjavik, the lively capital, as well as various national parks and remote regions such as Landmannalaugar and the Westfjords also find their place in the show. Spectacular footage of the volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula, valuable travel tips and exciting background information round off the program. A special highlight are the images of the eruption of the Fagradalsfjall volcano in 2021. Pantke also sheds light on current developments on the island.
