Italic Handwriting with Paul Antonio | PAScribe

In this 5hour class you will be introduced to an upright Italic Handwriting style.

We will cover the basic strokes and how they come together to make up the letters. The first set of letters are sharp and angular and allow us to very swiftly move to the more rounded strokes which make up this beautiful running hand. The focus of this class will be the minuscules, or lowercase. Majuscules / uppercase letters will be demonstrated, as well as how to take this simplified script into its formal hands. You will be provided with a handout which includes the whole alphabet.

Paul Antonio approaches calligraphy as a geometric and breathwork practice. He is the author of 'Copperplate Script - A Yin& Yang Approach' and is the inventor of the 'PAScribe Lining Template' which simplifies ruling up sheets of paper.

This course is suitable for beginners as well as advanced writing enthusiasts.
