Jahresverkaufsausstellung 2025 „Licht an!“

In the organizer's words:

As every year, the Kunstverein Unna invites artists from all over Germany and from Unna to reflect on a theme for the annual sales exhibition. The title for 2025 is: "Light on!"

Light bridges the gap between perception, experience and knowledge. It influences the sleep cycle, vitamin levels and emotions and can either separate or connect. As an invisible, paradoxical phenomenon, light is not even materially tangible and is completely unexplained by science. The question of what we personally want to bring into the light is individual and must be re-evaluated every day.

Do we want the light to be bright and clear or dim and mystical? Do we focus on the groundbreaking sensation that is illuminated stage-like with the brightest spotlight or do we shine a spotlight on the grievance that everyone else looks past?

Light on! demands a decision: Act, get into action!

The exhibition can be seen from November 7 to 30, 2025 in the exhibition space of the Kunstverein Unna e.V., Mühlenstraße 4c in Unna.

Vernissage on November 7, 2025 at 7:30 pm with a thematic introduction by Dr. Jula Well. Closing on November 30 from 2 to 5 pm with coffee and cake.

Opening hours: Thursday 7 - 9 p.m., Saturday 3 - 5 p.m., Sunday 2 - 5 p.m.
