Jamie Clarke, singer, songwriter, guitarist, head & heart of PERFECT, was born in the English provinces in 1964 and always had big plans. Barely dry behind the ears, he was drawn to the wilds of Camden, London's hotspot and the center of the 80s music scene. When he founded PERFECT in 1997 to put his own ideas of speedy folk'n'roll into practice, his name was already a household name - he had already played on stage and in the studio for such renowned bands as 80s pop legends INNOCENCE LOST and folk-punk heroes THE POGUES.

JAMIE CLARKE'S PERFECT inspires with a perfect mixture of modern and rocking interpretations of Pogues and folk classics and original songs, in which, despite their affinity to rockabilly and punk, a love of Irish folk always shines through - full of the wild charm of drunken nights and gloomy backstreet pubs, packaged with musical virtuosity and served with Jamie's typical English humor. The members of this international band have fire in their blood!
